Crawfordsville, Ind Aug 12 – James Donald Adams of Columbia City and Albert C. Jennison of this city both graduates of Wabash College were drowned yesterday when their canoe capsized in Peave River near Tete Juana Cache, British Columbia, according to news received here. The bodies had not been recovered when the message was sent.  Adams was city editor of the Columbia City Post and during the last session of the Indiana Legislature in Indianapolis was Senate Reporter for the Associated Press. He was 24  years old and Jennison was about the same age.

Crawfordsville, Ind Sept 5 – Chief of Police Allen Michael is in receipt of a letter from J. Kirkup, magistrate of Juane Cache, British Columbia, stating a hat band bearing the name of Albert Jennison and his address, Crawfordsville Ind had been floating in the Fraser River. The hat band was found some distance down the river from where Jennison and his companion, Donald C. Adams of Columbia City were drowned Aug 10 when their canoe was capsized. All hope of recovering the bodies has been abandoned.
